Last updated: February 2026 · Effective date: 1 January 2026
BLKautomation ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
BLKautomation is the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website. We are based in the United Kingdom.
Data Controller: BLKautomation
Email: [email protected]
Location: United Kingdom
2. What data we collect
We only collect data you voluntarily provide. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or sell your data to third parties.
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), a description of the process you want to automate, the tools involved, and an estimate of time lost per week. This data is transmitted via Formspree (see Third Parties below).
If you email us at [email protected], we receive whatever information you include in that message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.
Our hosting provider may collect standard server log data (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). This is collected automatically and used for security and operational purposes only. We do not use this for profiling or advertising.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data only for the purposes below. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Contact form and email submissions are used to reply to you and assess whether your process is a good automation candidate.
If you become a client, we process contact and project information necessary to carry out the agreed automation work.
Server log data is used to detect and prevent abuse, errors, and security incidents.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): Responding to enquiries, providing pre-sales information, and maintaining website security.
Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)): Processing data necessary to deliver automation services to clients.
5. Third parties
We use a small number of carefully chosen third-party services. We do not sell or rent your data to any third party for marketing purposes.
Our contact form is processed by Formspree, Inc. Form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Formspree in order to deliver them to us. Formspree is GDPR-compliant. See their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
This website is hosted on a third-party static hosting platform (e.g. Netlify or Cloudflare Pages). Server logs, including IP addresses, are retained by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes in line with their own privacy policy.
6. Data retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary:
7. Cookies
This website does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent service. Your browsing on this site is not tracked for marketing purposes. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary session cookies used by the hosting provider for security (e.g. CSRF protection).
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
You can ask us to delete your data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.
You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Where we process your data by automated means with your consent or to perform a contract, you can request a portable copy.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to client data is restricted to those who need it to perform the contracted work.
10. International transfers
We are UK-based and process your data primarily within the UK. Where third-party services (such as Formspree) may process data outside the UK, we ensure those services provide adequate protections in line with UK GDPR requirements, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
